John Steiner
Chief Compliance Officer, UK HealthCare of the University of Kentucky

John Steiner is Chief Compliance Officer for University of Kentucky Healthcare in Lexington. UK HealthCare is the flagship academic medical center in Kentucky. The complex enterprise includes three hospitals, UK College of medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Dentistry, Kentucky Clinics, Kentucky Medical Services Foundation, 140 outreach programs and over 13,000 employees.

John possess a broad range of experiences: in the health law department of a national law firm, in the premier national hospital trade association, and in senior management in one of the top hospital systems, and one of the top land grant university health systems in the United States. In each instance, he has led significant initiatives and held critical leadership positions during dramatically changing times. He has served on the Board of a national health care compliance association and is a frequent presenter at national health law and compliance conferences.
