Questions from the Front Lines: Real-World Issues in Workplace Investigations

Overview

  • Event Held On: 10/20/2009

Full Event Description

Workplace investigations test the effectiveness of your compliance program. An effective investigation shows the value of your ethics training, helps to resolve various problems your company faces, and identifies areas where company operations may be improved. An effective investigation underscores the ROI of your business function.

But each investigation poses its own challenges and complications. It is also where the practical trumps the theoretical. There is little opportunity to consider “tone from the top” and other compliance philosophies. Instead, the investigator has to do his job by navigating among the conflicting priorities of skeptical executives, turf-conscious managers, and nervous colleagues who either have something to hide or fear being swept up into the investigation's aftermath.

Join us for a relevant, practical discussion of some of the real-world issues investigators face, led by Meric Bloch, one of Ethics Point’s most popular presenters. The content comes directly from questions asked by people just like you who attended Meric's past speaking engagements. The questions are practical, and the answers draw upon what Meric learned from writing, speaking and conducting over 400 workplace investigations.

After the webinar, participants will receive a full set of questions and answers, even those questions Meric could not address in the webinar. You can keep these materials handy for future reference.

Who should attend: President, CEO, CCO, other C-level Executives and Senior Management in Ethics and Compliance, Risk Management, Security, HR, Audit, Finance, and Legal
