Policies and Investigations: Improve Efficiency Through Organization and Knowledge

Overview

  • Event Held On: 1/24/2012

Full Event Description

As part of every ethics & compliance case manager’s purview, we document issues and violations of ethics and compliance that occur under our watch. But do you have your policies – the ones that outline what a violation is – memorized? Do you have clear and concise policies on how to conduct an investigation? Do you know them off hand? Of course not; there are far too many.

Did you know?

  • It takes 18 minutes, on average, to find a document
  • Staff members spend 30-40% of their time looking for information
  • Employee turnover often means up to 70% of that person's institutional knowledge leaves with them

In this webinar you will learn how your PPG library will:

  • Help ensure consistent investigations and processes
  • Eliminate searching for documentation and versions
  • Minimize training of new staff when existing knowledge walks out the door

There is a way to tie all violations of ethics & compliance into the appropriate policy, procedure or guideline it violates, both quickly and easily. EthicsPoint’s Policies, Procedures and Guidelines (PPG) Library provides a dynamic, searchable knowledge base for investigative procedure documents, applicable policies, workflow diagrams, as well as any other pertinent program information that may be useful to investigators and case managers.

Join Stephen Molen, EthicsPoint's Director of Strategic Solutions, and Meric Bloch, Vice President, Compliance & Corporate Investigations for Adecco Group North America and author of "An Insiders Guide to Workplace Investigations," on January 24, 2012, to gain further knowledge about the benefits of having clear documentation and best practice materials for your compliance program and as well as keeping your PPGs organized and accessible to aid in investigations.
