This national employment screening service helps organizations identify applicants with a history of theft or fraud. Esteem’s membership-based contributory program allows companies to legally share theft and fraud incident information. In addition to the member- contributed theft incidents, LexisNexis Screening Solutions also validates an applicant's Social Security Number. Esteem was created to help companies reduce shrink associated with employee dishonesty.

NRMA

GIS’ National Retail Mutual Association

GIS’ National Retail Mutual Association (NRMA) Retail Theft Database is accessed through eQuest+, our web-enabled background report order and retrieval system. The NRMA database is comprised solely of theft data contributed from participating retail companies. As with all screening services available through GIS, FCRA compliance is a priority and all incidents contributed to the NRMA database are verified before being disseminated. The database currently has over 50 contributing member companies and an established and active advisory board, comprised of some of the retail industry’s leading loss prevention experts. The NRMA database enhances your ability to make a more informed hiring decision and can be incorporated into your screening program strategy to help reduce theft where it has the potential to occur most—among your employees.
