Hotline and Issue & Event Manager (epIEM)

The key application in our Case Management Solution is Issue &Event Manager (epIEM) which was developed to give hotline customers a better way to consistently investigate and resolve misconduct or other adverse incidents that surface through hotline reports and in other ways (such as face-to-face meetings). These non-hotline reports account for as much as 97% of all reported issues.

The hotline is a bundled feature of epIEM, but - most importantly - the full application also helps gather incident and issue reports that come in through such avenues as email, conversations with managers or supervisors, exit interviews, audits, investigations or third-party venues (e.g. monitoring software, personnel surveys, news items, police reports or lawsuit filings). We believe capturing reports from all areas of the organization in this centralized process is the key to managing cases effectively and efficiently.

An easy and efficient way to capture incident reports from all areas of an organization, EthicsPoint's Custom Report Forms are designed to gather information unique to your reporting requirements and can be linked to your intranet, ethics portal or other employee web site.

Data Privacy Module

Reporting and case management solutions need to respect the various global data privacy rules - even when anonymity is forbidden. EthicsPoint's configurable Data Privacy Module enables adherence to all local data privacy rules and legislation, regardless of the conflicting mandates that exist worldwide.

Elements of the EthicsPoint Data Privacy Module include:

  1. An enhanced client portal page establishing a process to flag Data Privacy Reports
  2. A country-specific database captures whether the location of the reported incident is Data Privacy-regulated (as defined by the client) and where the reporter is located
  3. Data Privacy issue package (includes standard issue types and definitions for: Financial Issues, Auditing and Accounting, Banking, and Anti-Bribery)
  4. Restricted dispatch and distribution of Data Privacy Reports to Client-appointed Principal Data Privacy Report Recipient
  5. Data Privacy Reports can be filtered or sorted for analysis and or management review

HRIS Integration Module

Loss Prevention Module

Our Retail Loss Prevention Management Solution is an optional module to our Issue & Event Manager application. Designed to help retailers implement loss prevention strategies, investigators can use this system to rapidly create electronic case records and improve the management of information regarding criminal activities, threats, acts of fraud, internal theft, shoplifting, accidents, human resource problems and other misconduct. Using the Loss Recovery module, you can also speed up the civil recovery and restitution process by integrating payment records from a third-party civil recovery agency with the restitution plans and payment records that you store in Issue &Event Manager.
